ASX falls 1.2pc to recent two-month low
The native bourse has sunk to a recent two-month low, as final week’s rollercoaster journey carried over into Monday.
The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index closed down 85 factors to 7,120.6, a lack of 1.2 per cent.
The broader All Ordinaries index fell 109.7 factors to 7,357.9, a 1.5 per cent decline.
The ASX has now misplaced floor on 5 of its final six classes, and eight of the final 11, falling 6.4 per cent in a bit over two weeks.
The Australian greenback was shopping for simply 70.01 us cents, its lowest stage since late January, and down from 70.70 us cents from when the market closed on Friday.
