Ben Stiller is nearing a deal to star in a restricted sequence adaptation of the documentary ‘Three Identical Strangers’, ‘Variety’ has discovered.
The sequence hails from author Amy Lippman with Sony Pictures Television producing it together with SK Global and TriStar Television. Like the documentary, the sequence would deal with the true story of Bobby Shafran, David Kellman and Eddy Galland — equivalent triplets who had been separated at start solely to be reunited later in life.
Ben Stiller, who’s government producing through Red Hour Films, would star because the three grownup brothers. Lippman, in the meantime, would function showrunner and government producer.
