‘While there is continued uncertainty in the market, I remain optimistic we can continue this momentum and deliver on both short- and long-term growth ambitions,’ stated chief government Lawson Whiting.

The firm posted quarterly web earnings of $214million (£184million), up from $165million (£142million) a 12 months earlier. 

Last month Brown-Forman stated it might make investments greater than £30million in its GlenDronach distillery in Aberdeenshire, greater than doubling its capability, enabling it to satisfy rising international demand.
