Young and the Restless star Melissa Ordway reveals she has tested positive for COVID-19 and must miss the 2022 Daytime Emmy Awards

Young and the Restless star Melissa Ordway had her dream come true when she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award… although she will be unable to attend.

The 39-year-old actress was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series: Actress for enjoying Abby Newman in Young and the Restless.

She took to Twitter on Thursday night, revealing she has tested positive for information/coronavirus/index.html” id=”mol-39172610-f37e-11ec-ad47-af419723575e”>COVID-19 to her over 67K followers.

‘It has all the time been a dream of mine to be nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award and to convey my mother and father to the present. It was about to return true, till I tested positive for Covid yesterday afternoon’, Ordway started. 

‘I’m so dissatisfied that I received’t have the ability to have a good time with everybody on Friday. I’ve cried numerous tears,’  she stated, including that, ‘Thankfully, I’m asymptomatic.’

She has been married to actor Justin Gaston since 2012, and they share six-year-old adopted daughter Olivia Christine and four-year-old daughter Sophie Jolie.
