The information anchor — who now heads up the morning time slot on a brand new present known as ‘CNN This Morning’ — appeared genuinely damage that the ‘Late Show’ host went in on him on nationwide TV Thursday evening … making enjoyable of a hoodie-suit DL wore that morning on the air.

Colbert was fairly forceful in his joking about Don’s wardrobe alternative, saying … “As a clever man as soon as mentioned, ‘What the f*** is that?'” He continued to poke enjoyable at Don, and instructed him he had some explaining to do — this whereas he was in the midst of an interview with a visitor.
Welp, Don wasn’t actually in a laughing temper about this. Instead, he took a way more critical tone in firing again — saying he believes SC confirmed his true colours right here … after which launched right into a soliloquy about how standard costume code requirements have modified.

He says the pandemic has flipped work apparel on its head, whereas noting he’d been requested by his bosses at CNN to have enjoyable and be extra causal — which his Thursday outfit positively was. Then, Don name-dropped the above-mentioned people … look ahead to your self.
It’s an attention-grabbing convo. While Colbert appeared to speaking in jest, Lemon appears to suppose there’s extra behind his chiding. Also, we would see DL rock the hoodie once more after this.👀
