Vivienne Westwood — whose style designs are largely credited for bringing punk types to the mainstream — has died.
A press release from Westwood’s staff introduced she died Thursday peacefully and surrounded by family members in South London. The assertion reads, “Vivienne continued to do the issues she beloved, up till the final second, designing, engaged on her artwork, writing her ebook, and altering the world for the higher.”
It continues, “She led a tremendous life. Her innovation and impression over the past 60 years has been immense and can proceed into the long run.”
