Grinning, an Instagram model accused of stabbing her boyfriend with a kitchen knife at their opulent Hudson Yards apartment shared a video of herself being questioned at a police station the night after the alleged assault.
Genie Exum, 22 years old, was released on bail Tuesday after being charged with stabbing her boyfriend, baby boy Pajulas, in the back and arm during a fight the night before in Manhattan. Exum shared on her Instagram Story footage of her sitting next to a police officer at the station after she returned to her 10th Avenue skyscraper late on Tuesday.
Exum reposted the video from another account, which shows the blonde laughing and playing with a necklace. Exum wrote alongside the video, “They took my phone, and I’m stuck.”
The Instagram model wore the same oversized grey Sublime sweater, dark green leggings, and white slippers in court when she was charged with second-degree assault. The video was released hours after she told a Post reporter to “subscribe to My Only Fans” upon her return to her apartment.
Exum, who has more than 37,000 Instagram followers, posted a photo last month of herself topless in front of an NYPD police car. Assistant Manhattan District Attorney Grace Lunden had asked the court to release Exum on a $10,000 or $50,000 bond, saying “this is a case of violence.”
In the attack, Exum’s friend was stabbed twice and was bleeding profusely when he went to the lobby at approximately 6:45 p.m., prompting a bouncer to call the police. On Monday, the prosecution stated He was transported to Bellevue Hospital for stitches.
