We mourn the loss of Betty Amelia Vautour, wife of the late Samuel Joseph Vautour, who died on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the Dr. Fleet Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was born on June 20, 1923, in St. John, New Hampshire, to Walter and Bernice (Day) Foley. Betty’s first and greatest love is her family. She enjoys cooking, playing cards, knitting, and playing bridge.
Betty Ann Greenfield (Owen Hagerman) and Lorraine Black (Carl), Betty’s daughters, are both from Fredericton, New Hampshire. Grandchildren include Brian (Nicole) Greenfield, Karen (Jamie) Boyle, David (Amanda) Greenfield, Julie (Aaron) Worden, and Angela (Jack) Waugh; great-grandchildren include Erin and Evan Greenfield, Tyler and Adam Boyle, Henry and Hayden Greenfield, Sam Worden, Zachary and Thomas Waugh, and several nieces and nephews.
Madalyn Boyle, her great-granddaughter, died along with her parents and husband. Selma McClintock, her brother Billy Fowlie, and son-in-law Ronald Greenfield are among the survivors.
