James “Buster” Corley, one of the co-founders of the restaurant chain Dave & Buster, has passed away… TMZ has discovered. A D&B representative confirmed Corley’s death and told TMZ that he will be remembered for his “innovation and creativity” and “pioneering spirit.”
On Monday, James’ birthday, police in Dallas, Texas, said they were searching for a man with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. After being taken to the hospital, he died.
The D&B representative added, “Our hearts are with his family during this difficult time, and we will miss his sage advice and easy laugh, the legacy he and Dave built.”
James and his business partner David Corriveau established the first Dave & Buster’s in Dallas in 1982… Dave won a coin toss, and his name appeared first on the list. Dave & Buster’s has over 140 locations in the United States that combine gourmet food and arcade games. The police stated that they were conducting an investigation. Jacob’s age is 72 years.
