On Tuesday, a Tennessee police department was accused of at least five male officers having sex with a female officer both on and off duty.

Mayor Jason Cole said that five officers have been fired and three others have been suspended without pay while police in the Nashville suburb of La Vergne investigate allegations against a 60-person police department.

Kerr said in a statement, “This situation was unacceptable, and we immediately launched an investigation and took action against those responsible.” The restoration of public confidence is our highest priority.

The La Vergne police report was included in an internal investigation report obtained by the Nashville-based NBC affiliate WSMV. The officers talked about sending each other pictures of their private parts on their cellphones, having sex at the police station while on duty, and going to parties like the ones in “Girls Gone Wild.”

Chief of Police Burrel “Chip” Davis said, “A few people’s actions do not speak for the whole department.”

Davis stated that despite layoffs and suspensions, we have sufficient personnel to cover all patrol shifts. According to him, consultants were brought in “to assist our officers in handling these situations.”

Maegan Hall, the female officer at the centre of the scandal, has been terminated, according to city officials. Sergeants Lewis Powell, Henry Ty McGowan, Seneca Shields, and Juan Lugo-Perez were also terminated.

NBC News attempted to contact all the officials who were terminated or suspended, but none responded. In addition to breaking departmental rules about sexual behaviour while on duty, they were also accused of hindering the investigation by lying about their “improperly conducted” actions, according to the investigation report.

Anne Smith, a city spokesperson, stated that no one has been charged with a crime. WTVF-TV in Nashville was told by the Rutherford County Attorney’s Office that they are keeping an eye on the situation.

Earlier, Sergeant Eric Staats, president of the department’s police fraternity chapter, stated that none of the officers would make a statement.

According to the investigative report, the houseboat is owned by the state, and it hosted a wild “hot tub” party on Memorial Day of last year, where officials got so drunk that Hall lost her shirt. And then he poured vodka into her mouth. The government has not been charged with any wrongdoing.

According to a report by WSMV, city officials launched an investigation on December 12 after a sheriff informed Cole Hall of an “intimate relationship” with a colleague.

When asked, Powell, Maglioko, Holloday, Shields, and Lugo Perez all said they had sexual relationships with Hall, says the report.
