Man (33) arrested on suspicion of INLA membership following west Belfast parade
A person was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of membership of a proscribed organisation following a parade by the Irish Nationwide Liberation Military (INLA) in west Belfast.
he 33-year-old was arrested below the Terrorism Act, and brought to the Severe Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station in Belfast for interview.
He might be questioned on suspicion of membership of a proscribed organisation, particularly the INLA, and the sporting of a uniform linked to a proscribed organisation.
Officers from the Paramilitary Crime Process Power arrested the male additional to “a notified parade in west Belfast on Sunday, April 17”.
