Whitney Thomas takes over the morning shift at Max Media’s River Radio “K103.1” KEZS in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Her replacement for long-time KEZS morning show host Kent Crider.In addition, afternoon host Rachel Cook is being promoted to OM from the six-station Cape Girardeau/Sikeston cluster of River Radio. Cook maintained her PD responsibilities on the adult hit “93.9 Mike FM” and the alternative KGIR-AM (1220).
Glenn Johnson, a police officer, stated in a press release, “If anyone could tackle this challenge, it would be Whitney.” She has a wide range of skills that go well with her enthusiasm and ability to connect with her audience.
She is a local talent with decades of experience who is also an active member of our community and thus understands it. “She is media-savvy and social; if she were more affable, she would be your sister.”
