Det John Munch, RIP. Actor Richard Belzer, a comic turned critically acclaimed TV actor, has died on the age of 78. He lived for some time within the south of France.
Belzer gained reputation as Detective John Munch, first on Street Homicide and then on Law & Order SVU. He performed the position for a complete of 15 years.
I do know Richard from Bridgeport, Connecticut. He’s vigorous and charming, and is understood for strolling round together with his pup. When he involves Michael’s restaurant or Elaine’s restaurant, the pup is unfold out with a blanket and a bowl of water beneath the desk.
Former SNL participant Laraine Newman introduced his passing on Twitter. She wrote: “Sad to listen to the information of Richard Belzer’s passing. I beloved the person a lot. He was considered one of my earliest associates after I got here to New York to movie SNL. We used to Goes to Sheepshead Cove each week for lobster dinners. One of the funniest individuals ever. Master of crowd work. RIP love.”
Last Thursday, Monk was talked about as his longtime associate Finn on actor Ice T’s “SVU.” I wrote this text on Friday. Monk has returned to Baltimore, the hometown of “The Homicide,” opened a bar and is fortunately married, Fern stated. The producers will need to have identified Belzer was sick and gave him a correct goodbye.
Richard Belzer shall be vastly missed.
