Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has swapped Hollywood in California for our personal Holywood Co Down, after stopping in to a neighborhood restaurant for lunch.
he Irish born actor, who starred as 007 in 4 of the franchise’s films between 1995 and 2002, was pictured in Fontana within the city.
Posting on Instagram, the restaurant captioned the photograph: “It’s not everyday James Bond pops in for lunch.”
It’s not totally stunning the 69-year-old is likely to be enjoying among the native spots given his newest venture sees him enjoying a Northern Irish World War II veteran within the upcoming movie The Last Rifleman.
The movie, which is at the moment in pre-production with scenes filmed in Northern Ireland, sees Brosnan enjoying Artie Crawford, a veteran residing in a care house in Northern Ireland who has simply misplaced his spouse.
The Last Rifleman is impressed by WWII veteran Bernard Jordan who, at 89-years-old, sneaked out of his care house in East Sussex, acquired on a ferry to France and made his method to Normandy for the seventieth anniversary commemorations of the D-Day landings in June 2014.
