A 40-year-old man has been charged with a variety of drugs offences as a part of a PSNI investigation into the North Down news|41775758|normal” class=”-as:2″>UDA.

he man will seem earlier than Newtownards Magistrates’ Court on July 19.

The man had been arrested following the search of a property in Newtownards by the PSNI’s Paramilitary Crime Task Force.

The investigation by the officers is a part of an investigation into the North Down Brigade of the UDA.

The 40-year-old had been arrested on April 20 and later launched on bail pending additional police enquiries.

He returned for questioning on Tuesday.
