AURORA – Police north of Toronto have charged an 82-year-old man in a sexual assault on a 12-year-old girl.
York regional police say the girl was at a restaurant in Aurora, Ont., final Thursday and went to make use of a public washroom.
They say she was sexually assaulted by a person contained in the washroom.
Police say the suspect was discovered in Newmarket, Ont., on Saturday morning.
The suspect is charged with sexual assault and sexual interference, a cost that pertains to the sexual touching of somebody underneath 16.
Police are asking anybody with info to return ahead.
