CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – Two individuals are lifeless in Campbell River, B.C., including one man killed by RCMP.
Police say in a press release they have been known as Monday to a report of a murder at a neighborhood marina with hostages being concerned.
When officers arrived, they realized the male suspect was alone and makes an attempt have been made to barter with the person, who police say had a weapon.
RCMP say photographs have been fired throughout an interplay with the person and he was killed.
The Independent Investigations Office is investigating the police capturing.
The RCMP says the most important crimes unit is operating one other investigation into the homicide.
