Acton mentioned an area transportation contractor did some work to take away some materials from Creighton Creek to assist shield infrastructure.

For now, though water appears to be receding again, Acton is telling residents to stay ready.

“Don’t start dismantling things yet. We are certainly not out of the woods by any means. There are still opportunities for flooding with a couple of days of rain coming and I’m hoping after that, that will be it,” Acton mentioned.
