A man has been banned from all Bunnings Hardware stores in one Australian state after he was allegedly caught making an attempt to shoplift a cordless drill by shoving the merchandise down his pants.  

The 37-year-old man was allegedly caught with the drill final Saturday on the Bunnings retailer at Kotara, close to Newcastle, NSW.

As the man started to go away the shop, employees members adopted earlier than confronting him and requesting that he hand the drill again to them.

The 37-year-old man (pictured) was arrested, charged and given conditional bail to appear at Newcastle Local Court in October. He has now been banned from all Bunnings stores across New South Wales

Staff then carried out a citizen’s arrest when the man is alleged to have tried to flee the scene, and have been in a position to find the drill.   

He was later arrested by police in the shop’s backyard mattress after allegedly persevering with to resist employees. 

The man was charged at Newcastle Police Station and given conditional bail to seem at Newcastle Local Court in October.

He has been issued a banning discover from all Bunnings stores throughout New South Wales.
