An enormous fire has erupted at a car wrecking yard with close by residents advised to shut their home windows and plumes of smoke fly into the sky.
Multiple fire crews are working to extinguish the blaze at the yard on the nook of Southpine Road and Duntroon Street, in Brendale, north of Brisbane.
‘If you reside in the realm, hold home windows and doorways closed and keep inside as a consequence of thick smoke,’ Queensland Ambulance tweeted simply earlier than 1pm on Wednesday.
‘This incident will probably be ongoing and will trigger disruptions to site visitors in the speedy space.’
Aerial footage exhibits thick plumes of black smoke hovering into the sky, whereas dozens of automobiles are seen on flames or fully scorched.
