Police have named a teenager killed in a horror crash after the car she was a passenger in collided with a BMW.

Georgia Bendelow, 18, suffered severe accidents following a crash between a white BMW M3 and a pink Seat Mii on the A63 Selby Road at round 6.40pm on Wednesday.

The teenager, who was a passenger in the Seat, was rushed to hospital by air ambulance however died two days later.

The driver of the Seat, a 45-year-old girl, and one other passenger, a 20-year-old man, had been additionally hospitalised with severe accidents. Their accidents aren’t regarded as life threatening.
