One of Queensland’s high cops has give up after his use of the phrase ‘vagina whisperer’ in a speech to colleagues amid an inquiry into police responses to household and home violence.
Deputy commissioner Paul Taylor resigned on Friday after a Commission of Inquiry discovered he and chief superintendent Ray Rohweder made lewd feedback at police management conferences.
The revelations got here as Queensland’s police commissioner Katarina Carroll was questioned on the Inquiry on claims the service has a sexist, racist and misogynistic tradition amongst officers.
Mr Taylor used the phrase ‘vagina whisperer’ in an official speech to explain a good friend of his who’s a revered gynaecologist.

Chief supt. Rohweder yelled an inappropriate comment at a Master of Ceremonies at a separate occasion, the Courier Mail reported.
But he has not resigned.
He is known to have yelled from the viewers out to the MC, who had stitches for a facial harm, asking ‘did she shut her legs on you?’
Mr Taylor tended his resignation to commissioner Carroll after each males have been recognized throughout hearings for the Commission of Inquiry into Queensland Police Service Responses to Domestic and Family Violence.
Commissioner Carroll informed the inquiry she personally counselled Mr Taylor over his use of language.
Mr Taylor, a police officer for 45 years, was in 2020 appointed to a brand new function deputy commissioner for Regional Queensland, based mostly in Townsville.
‘It was by no means my intention to offend anybody, and I’m deeply apologetic for the hurt it has brought about,’ Mr Taylor stated in an e-mail to colleagues.
‘I’m devastated concerning the influence this has had on the status of the service, as a result of it doesn’t replicate my values, nor these of the organisation.’
