Atrioc, a popular Twitch streamer, has issued an apology after accidentally revealing that he visited a website containing nude images of female streamers. Atrioc says that an online ad brought him to the site, and he didn’t follow any streamers he knew personally.
A clip of Atrioc’s most recent livestream that was shared on Reddit earlier today revealed that the Twitch streamer had a tab with a deepfake website. Although Atrioc simply disclosed its hashtag, viewers quickly identified the website as the source of the sale of deep-fake nude photographs of numerous popular Twitch divas.
Although the video has since been removed from Atrioc’s channel, r/hotsauce652 posted additional evidence on Reddit. The user contacted the site’s creators, who said that Atrioc was using their site and that Atrioc’s page had explicit content from popular female streamers.
The anchor and his wife livestreamed the situation shortly after Atrioc’s video went viral. During the 14-minute stream, the streamer apologised tearfully, describing his actions as “disgusting” and “embarrassing” and claiming he was distracted by a Pornhub advertisement.
Atrioc stated, “I do extensive work on stream to establish a pattern of behaviour, and I particularly want women to feel safer on Twitch.” “We do not condone this behaviour and immediately prohibit it.” “We’re consistent about it.”
Atrioc went on to explain what led him to the website, claiming that he saw advertisements for it in a few videos and that his “morbid” curiosity prompted him to click the link. The Twitch streamer said he was sorry for what he did and said again that this is not what streamers usually do.
So far, no streamer or other content creator who is part of Atrioc has said anything about this.
