Sydney Harbour tunnel closed in BOTH instructions inflicting site visitors chaos for these attempting to cross town

Commuters have been urged to make use of the Harbour Bridge as an alternative as tons of of vehicles queue up within the tunnel on Tuesday morning.

At round 11.15am the digicam monitoring system malfunctioned, closing the southbound lanes whereas a two-car crash within the Domain Tunnel on the identical time prompted closure of the northbound entrance.

‘The Sydney Harbour Tunnel is closed in each instructions as a result of a technical fault with the CCTV cameras. Traffic is heavy each instructions,’ Live Traffic Sydney tweeted. 

While the crash within the Domain Tunnel was cleared shortly after, the harbour tunnel stays closed in each instructions.
